Citation in the Hadit:

Ibn ‘Umar said “the Messenger of PBUH forbade the mafdam” Yazied said to Al-Hassan, what is the Mofdam? He said, the one that saturated with the safflower. Sunn Ibn Majah, book of the clothes.

Habitat & Distribution:

Safflower is one of the oldest crops, where it was drawn on the walls of Pharaonic tombs and temples of ancient Egypt. At present, safflower is widely cultivated in countries of southern Europe, the Middle East and India.
