The information Centre “Botanic Museum” of the Qur’anic Botanic Garden will provide various types of information about plants in the Holy Qur’an and Hadith, Environment in Islam, Ethics and Culture heritage. The information Centre / Botanic Museum displays an exhibition of scientific, medicinal, cultural and botanical aspects of the Qur’anic Botanic Garden. The audio-visual aids provide a multi-level, interactive introductory tour of the highlights of the QBG collections. The Library corner is a suitable calm place to read about plants.
After a 30-45 minute walk, people will gain a lot of information about seeds, herbarium and Botanical terms mentioned in Holy Qur’an and Hadith. They will able to watch and listen to stories about plants. Visitors can also explore the traditional medicine and ancient agricultural tools during their tour.
The capacity of the classroom is from 30-35 students. This classroom is definite for students to deliver the educational program of the Qur’anic Botanic Garden based on plants, nature conservation and revival of our cultural heritage. This class room will be provided with modules flowers, fruits, roots and shoots and other educational tools and modules in order to deliver the QBG educational message.
The Experimental nursery is an important educational tool to apply information about plants to students and general public as well. The nursery offers a proper place to deliver the particle educational sessions for students and public related to greenhouse, agriculture and germination.
One of the main objectives of the Qur’anic Botanic Garden is to build national and international awareness around the plants and Environment issues and to build a cross bridge between cultures. To achieves this goal, the garden promotes a comprehensive awareness activities locally, regionally and internationally to raise awareness of the Garden nationally and internationally, to Muslim and non-Muslim audiences.
