Al Muqayyir

Is that which is painted with tar. It is called Qayir, and is a plant that is burned when it becomes dry to tar ships with.

Narrated Aisha, the Mother of the Believers, that the Messenger of Allah (PBUH) forbade the Dabba, Hantam, Naqir and varnished jars. In another narration: With this Isnad (serries), except that varished jars are replaced with: Muqayyir.. (Sahih Muslim)‎‎‎
