The word “Senna” was cited in the hadith. On the authority of Umm Salamah, that: The Messenger of God came to me and said: “Why do I see you mourning?” Then I said: “‎‎I drank a medicine that soften my stomach”, he said: “What is it?” I said: “‎‎Al-Shabroum”, he said: “‎‎Why should you use Al-Shabroum?” “‎‎For it is hot, a fire on you. You better use senna and sennas, for in them there is a remedy of everything, except death.” (The Sahih Hadith Series, Volume Four – Medicine and Treatment)
