A rug made of palm wicker (leaves) to sit on. Haseer is made of palm fronds after removing the leaves (the woody part). Haseer is like a rectangular carpet for a person to sleep on. Haseer may be made from more than a plant other than palm trees, such as hay, asal, and other plants
