A conical, hat-shaped bowl made of wicker, used for covering food and protect it from insects. Also, the term makaba is given to the bird cage – such as pigeons and others. It has an entrance that is raised to the top to open to allow the birds to exit. Makaba is hung on the walls so that it is not easy to reach by predators.
