Plough

It is a tool for turning over the soil and uprooting waste plant matter and weeds. It was of old made of wood then metal and pulled by animals, especially cows or donkeys.

The word harth (Arabic for “plough”; “sow”; or “land”) is mentioned in the Quran, as in the words of Allah: “Consider the seeds you sow in the ground– is it you who make them grow or We?” [Al-Waqi’a: 63-65]
