Citation in the Quran:

At-Tin or fig has been mentioned once in the Holy Qur’an. It is the plant that Allah- All Almighty- swears, at the beginning of Surat At-Tin in the Holy Qur’an. Allah the Most Sublime Says; “By the Fig and the Olive,” Surat At-Tin, Verse# 1.

Citation in the Hadit:

Fig is not mentioned in the Hadith.

Habitat & Distribution:

Fig has been cultivated for thousands of years. It grows in warm temperate regions, including the Mediterranean countries and some areas in the Arabian Peninsula.
