QBG and the Islamic Culture Foundation (FUNCI) of Spain have signed an MOU to collaborate in bringing the AI-Andalus Garden Exhibition to Qatar. The exhibition was held at Katara Cultural Village in April 2018.

QBG signed an MoU with Qatar University’s Center for Humanities and Social Sciences (CHSS) and Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh (RBGE) to strengthen their collaboration and conduct joint interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary research projects in the field of environment, botany, education, culture, and sustainable development.

QBG’s Ghars Campaign 2019 came to a close, where more than 50 trees were planted by the Philippine Institute of Civil Engineers and the American Scouts, bringing the total number of trees planted at the time to 1,859 trees since 2011
